The meetups below are not official Sjögren’s Foundation events, but community-led meetups following or in conjuncition with the virtual Southwest Walk for Sjögren's Opening Ceremony at 10am MST.

Chandler, Arizona
Join Maria and the All Aces Walk Team for a 1-mile walk at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 5, at Paseo Vista Recreation Area in Chandler, Arizona. This takes place after the Sjögren's Foundation's Virtual Southwest Walk for Sjögren's.
This is a casual, in-person gathering to connect with others in the Sjögren’s community. Refreshments and giveaways will be available—and everyone is welcome!

Walkers will meet at the start of the walking trail near the south parking lot. (Turn left as you enter the park.) The trail is paved and level, making it a great walk for all.

We are honored that the Maricopa Dental Hygiene students and staff have selected Sjögren’s disease as their annual project again this year! For the past few years, they’ve walked to raise awareness, and this year they’re inviting the community to join them.

- Meet before 10:00 AM to prepare for the walk and to watch the Virtual Opening Ceremony for the Southwest Walk for Sjögren's on your own device. (Make sure Zoom is installed!)
- There may be an opportunity to watch the virtual program on a larger screen, but please be prepared to use your own device if needed.
- The walk will likely begin before the ceremony concludes—feel free to continue watching while walking, or request a recording afterward.
- There will be drawings and festivities.
